Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo Santos) is slated to guest star on ABC hit comedy Ugly Betty this fall. The big secret is who Mark will be playing, and what he will be doing when he joins the boys and girls at Mode Magazine for an unspecified number of episodes.Ironically, former Ugly scribe Charles Pratt has just come on as Headwriter for All My Children.

SIDENOTE: Allegedly, Consuelos onscreen and offscreen wife Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley Santos) put the kibosh on AMC's plan to recast Hayley with Beth Ehlers (now Taylor Thompson). My view? Good for her. Ripa has voiced she would come back, and has just never been invited.
